Yaoi also known as Shounen Ai or Boys’ Love(BL) is a genre of manga that involves two guys having a love connection. There is also the manhwa or manhua in Chinese and Korean. The difference between them is that manhwa is like a comic strip with colors that you read from left to right while the manga is colorless and read from right to left.

two types of positions:

The Seme: it’s the top person of the relationship. The one that does the giving(entering). They  are usually the tall, dark, handsome with a lot of money type. (omg! how i wish to see one in real life)

The Uke: its’s the bottom person in the relationship. The one that is receiving. The cutie type and usually small and feminine like but there are some with the muscly body types(studs).

two types of yaoi:

The Smut: it is basically the hardcore yaoi. It’s the whoa type of yaoi. When you read this kind of yaoi, beware if there is anyone behind you. Expression while reading this is (*0*).

The Soft Fluff: the yaoi where there are rainbows and butterflies. Usually the sweet lover or childhood crush stories are involved in this type of yaoi. expression is (>.<)

Most yaoi lovers are girls. Myself included.

Yaoi gives the tingles and butterflies and your stomach. For me, it makes my day complete and just perfect.
